Help Us Bring
the Daily Divinity
into Homes

Every preorder directly funds the
£9,000 Oxford University Press licence
required to publish the calendar

Why are we Doing This?

The idea was born in 2007.

Zee’s mother had bought this Hijri calendar. After a couple of years, the pages were tattered and she had asked us to “design something similar with material that can last”

Our quest began with the curation of the content. But it was only in 2019 when we got ourselves The Qur’an translation by Professor Abdel Haleem that we resonated with his translation.

It was smooth to read and easily understood.

However, the translation are published by Oxford University Press. Thus, the hefty license fee of £9000.

As a small independent studio, preorders are the only way we can responsibly fund this before printing and without compromising on authenticity or quality.

What is the
Daily Divinity?

Inspired by the original idea, the Daily Divinity is designed with Islamic/Hijri months.

The Hijri calendar is more than a way to mark days. It gently connects us to our faith, our history, and our relationship with Allah.

Each day invites a verse from a different juz. Over the course of a Hijri month, you journey through all 30 juz of the Qur’an. One verse at a time, at a pace that feels gentle, present, and intentional.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

Time has come back to its original state which it had when Allah created the Heavens and Earth. The year is twelve months, four of which are sacred.
